Today, I thought it would be fitting to post a little about travel style and essentials as I just made the long trip home from Rio de Janeiro to Minneapolis. So glad to be home! My Travel Style :: When I fly, I usually like to dress up a little bit. You never know who you may meet or bump into, so I feel better knowing that I put some effort into my look. Although, I know it would be more comfortable throwing on some comfy Lulu Wonder-Unders, I try to go the little bit more dressed up route. I read a great quote in the Artful Living Magazine on the plane today... "People will stare. Make it worth their while." Harry Winston Outfit Pairing J.Crew :: White BootCut Denim Tory Burch :: "Lilah Wedge Espadrille" Burberry :: Check Merino Wool Scarf via Nordstrom Old Navy :: Black Linen Button Down (Old) Bags :: Both Michael Kors IN FLIGHT NECESSITIES :: :: Noise Canceling headphones :: A scarf or wrap is great for layering :: Water. Lots of it. A must-have to stay hydrated and help with jet lag. :: A medium or large handbag - to fit all of the things you will want to easily access during and after the flight - chapstick, lipgloss, wallet, iPhone, etc. (Don't forget to pack your charger in your carry-on for international flights - you can charge it up while you fly!) :: I tend to opt for a glass of champagne (or wine) to calm the nerves and help me fall asleep for the long flight ahead :: Favorite Mags :: Fully charged iPad full of your favorite tunes, movies, apps and games. Happy Travels,
LJ
