Parker was baptized on July 9th, and it was a very special day for our family. I remember when we were in the throes on our infertility journey and on baptism Sundays, it was a time of such joy for those families, and so much heartache for us. We longed to be the couple up on stage that was baptizing their little one. It was so so special for us to finally get to be that family this past Sunday. Our faith is so very important to my husband and I, and making sure that we carry on our Christian faith and values to our son is something we are very passionate about.
I changed Parker into his outfit at church when we arrived and he immediately spit up all over it. Go figure! :) We hosted a brunch at our home afterward with all of our family and it was so nice. P slept pretty much the whole party, but regardless it was still a fun time to be with family and celebrate this special day.
A very special thank you to Karen Adams designs for gifting me these beautiful invitations and matching thank you cards. I absolutely LOVE the way they turned out. Also, if you haven't checked out her stuff before, she makes the cutest annual calendar. I have one on my desk, and it's my go-to hostess gift!
