I've been sharing a lot of house pictures on Instagram lately and wanted to share them to my blog as well. This picture of the flowers in the sink may be my favorite of all time. What is it about flowers in a sink? I am just starting to get the hang of this photography thing and am kind of loving it. (I use a Canon Rebel T6i) I also love the before & afters of our front entryway, too. One of my most favorite parts of our remodel. Links to the plants and lights are shared below.

I've always wanted a fiddle leaf fig tree, I love the way they look and the fact that they add some color to my very grey-neutral house. Plus I read somewhere that having real plants in the house is good for your health! I found this super cute basket from Home Goods, and I'm loving the tassel detail. Hopefully I can keep this beauty alive, I have heard they are really finicky... so we'll see. Fingers crossed! If you have a black thumb like me, I've linked some good faux fiddle leaf fig plants and baskets below! My plant is from Bachman's for those of you in Minneapolis. :) They have a great selection!

When I was in my third trimester of pregnancy with Parker I thought my nesting vibes were bad, but after his arrival this spring, my urges to purge and organize have been in full-force. All the way down to the spice rack, haha. I have an awesome built-in spice cabinet next to my stovetop and I wanted to pretty it up with some uniform spice jars with hand-lettered labels. I bought mine from A & Co Mercantile, because she's a super-talented mama with impeccable taste and she's launching her own new shop soon. I love supporting other women, especially local shops. Check out the difference in the before and afters below. I love how they turned out!
I've also linked a few of my favorite labels and jars here. ![]() The Before Pictures...I started this new tab on my blog as a place to save all of my favorite home decor and decorating, as well as inspiration. As I think about how I want to decorate our house this year for the holidays, I was scrolling through some old pictures that I wanted to share here. It's so fun looking back at all of the changes I have made to the house from the time we moved back in.
I love decorating our home for the holidays. The minute Labor day arrived, I was off to buy mums, pumpkins and Halloween decor to make our home look festive. Fall is my absolute fave time of year. Below are some fun pics sharing how I got our home festive for fall.
