Christmastime favorites for littles...

After Halloween turned out to be a little bit of a bust in our house (I hardly decorated and bought P's pumpkin the day of Halloween haha), I decided that I am going to start planning super early for Christmas. It's my absolute favorite. I love decorating the house and cannot wait to start some new family traditions now that Parker is here. I want to make his first Christmas special and wanted to share some of the things I plan to buy for Parker to enjoy the Christmas season. I'm sharing these early because they are all things to enjoy during the anticipation of celebration of our savior. (Note: Anything in gold type below is clickable.)

1. Elf on the Shelf
I have always wanted to buy one of these, but my husband wanted me to wait until we had kids, so I finally get to buy one! Now to think of names for our elf... :)

2. Baby Handprint Ornament
Make an ornament commemorating their first Christmas. Plus this is a fun activity to do with your little one. I saw someone recommend this clay.

3 & 4 Plaid Christmas Outfit
I love preppy little boys clothes. I saw this plaid romper and fell in love. I bought this peter pan collar onesie to go under it and can't wait to dress Parker in it. He'll probably wear it in our Christmas pictures, too. And how cute are the pants with suspenders? Love!

5 & 11 Parker's Christmas Tree
I want to get Parker a Christmas tree for his nursery so badly! I am debating between this traditional style, or the birch tree style in #11 - because it would go perfectly in his little nursery.

6. Snowflake Garland
I am thinking I am going to do a white or neutral Christmas color scheme this year, and think these would be really cute to decorate with, or put on Parker's windows.

7. Handprint & Footprint Ornaments
A fun activity to do with your little one made with some basic arts and crafts materials that you can hang on the tree.

8. The Christmas Baby Book
I have been searching for good Christian books for Christmas (that are focused on Jesus and the Christmas story) and this looked like a cute one. I would love additional recommendations if you have them!

9 & 10 Christmas Jammies
Ok, matching Christmas jammies are making me soooo giddy right now!  I've been waiting to do this for so long and we finally get to do this for Parker's first Christmas this year. My husband is slightly mortified because I told him I'd like to wear these for our Christmas card, haha. I bought this print for the family, including Lexie! I also love these.

12. Nativity Set
When we were eating at brunch last weekend with Todd's parents, we were talking about Christmas and how my husband grew up with a nativity set in his room. So, naturally I wanted to do this for P too! I found one that will work for his age because the pieces aren't too small and he can put them in his mouth (he sucks or chews on everything right now). I love this idea and will carry this tradition on.

So there's my list of Christmastime faves for the season! I have a lot of fun posts coming up for this season and can't wait to share them with you. I would also love to know of your Christmastime favorites for littles, since this is our first year with P. I'm sure there are a lot of things I'm missing. Thanks for reading!
