I am pretty much obsessed with all things monogrammed. (That may explain my love for Mark & Graham!) I think that a monogram or hint of personalization can add so much to the most basic accessories.
Here are some of my faves:
Oversized L & J :: L is from Anthropologie
Personalized Thank You Cards :: Minted
Monogrammed Soap Bar + Guest Towels :: Williams-Sonoma
Personalized Stationery :: Epitome Papers
I can't believe that my long anticipated trip to Argentina and Brazil is now over... it went by so quickly, yet felt so long all at the same time. It was such a wonderful cultural experience & left me with many sweet memories and some killer photographs. I can't wait to frame some of my favorites (probably the beautiful, narrow tree-lined streets in Buenos Aires) around our home. I guess the weather wasn't too bad either.
I am so glad to be home though, I was ready. I missed my family and our pup, along with my comfy bed and not living out of a suitcase. Now it's back to the cold weather style for a few more months ;)
I had a new pair of semi-flared jeans waiting in a package for me when I got home today, so I thought I would throw them on and share my 'running errands' street style for the day. PS - I am loving that flares are making a come back. They work much better with my curves than skinny jeans.

My Travel Style ::
When I fly, I usually like to dress up a little bit. You never know who you may meet or bump into, so I feel better knowing that I put some effort into my look. Although, I know it would be more comfortable throwing on some comfy Lulu Wonder-Unders, I try to go the little bit more dressed up route. I read a great quote in the Artful Living Magazine on the plane today... "People will stare. Make it worth their while." Harry Winston
J.Crew :: White BootCut Denim
Tory Burch :: "Lilah Wedge Espadrille"
Burberry :: Check Merino Wool Scarf via Nordstrom
Old Navy :: Black Linen Button Down (Old)

:: I tend to opt for a glass of champagne (or wine) to calm the nerves and help me fall asleep for the long flight ahead
:: Favorite Mags
:: Fully charged iPad full of your favorite tunes, movies, apps and games.
Bom Dia from Rio! Today is my last day here, and I'm soaking up some Vitamin D before heading back home to the winter weather.
Rio has been super hot and humid (read: frizzy hair!) while I've been here, so I've had to dress with flowy light options to stay cool. Here are a few fun pairings I put together while out and about at the beach or dinner. I also had to throw one in there of the cute local girls' style. So cute!
Skirt: Rio's Copacabana Market
Wedges:Tory Burch "Lilah Wedge Espadrille"
Embroidered Dress: Argentine Boutique
I had to share these beautiful pictures I've taken of Copacabana, the slums (favelas) and Ipanema with my wonderful followers. :)
Brazil is very beautiful, a different type of beautiful from Buenos Aires (the Paris of South America)... Rio is where the mountains meet the jungle and ocean.
Panoramic view from my hotel, including a glimpse of the infamous Copacabana beach
One of the largest slums or favelas in Brazil
