I can't believe that little Baby Parker is 31 weeks already!. The reality of his arrival really set in the other day when I thought about how every single day is going to be so different once we have our sweet little boy here, and I'm so excited for this next phase of our life. I absolutely can't wait to see Todd be a dad, he's going to be so great with Parker, it's going to melt my heart. During our last ultrasound Parker was measuring about 3 lbs 2 oz, and he's been one active little guy - especially at night. I have no idea what is going on in that tummy of mine, but my whole stomach will jolt and it feels like he's doing somersaults in there. His schedule may be a little problematic for mom's sleep once he's here, he's already a night owl. Haha! :) Next week we get to see our little man two times - once for my 32 week appointment and for our final fetal echocardiogram. Everytime we see him he's got those sweet little hands in front of his face, so it's always hard to get a good look at him, hopefully we can get a peek next week! This may sound kind of weird, but the third trimester has been my favorite so far. My vaso vagal (fainting) episodes stopped happening and other than feeling larger than life and getting some hip pain when I sleep, I've been feeling pretty good. I love this growing belly and feeling his constant movements, too. Always reassuring for the worry-wort in me. My pregnancy brain is in full effect, too... it's so hard to concentrate on anything other than this little guy and his much anticipated arrival. My baby shower was this past weekend and we were showered with so much love. The nursery is full of baby items just waiting for little P. Now my nesting just needs to kick in so I can finish organizing the nursery so it's all ready! For all you mamas to be, I have to share my favorite recent maternity find (and I'm so bummed it took me 28 weeks to find them!) - these black leggings I am wearing from Target's maternity line. I honestly wish I had bought about 5 pairs, I never want to take them off, they are amazing. I feel like I could do gymnastics in them, haha. I also love the tights from this line, too. My biggest advice for maternity dressing would be to find some amazing leggings you love, and a big cozy cardigan like this one I'm wearing that you can wear after pregnancy too, and then find flowy or fitted tops to pair with both pieces - it's comfy, you can style the outfit so many ways, and you'll get use out of most things after pregnancy too! (PS - the cardigan I'm wearing and linked is 40% off right now!) A few other ways I've styled this sweater.
